Siskiyou Petroleum, Oil & Lubricants Annex

The site is located in Siskiyou County, in Montague, California. Two gravel roads approxmately 20 feet wide, running north-south are on the western half of the site. There is no physical evidence of POL storage or Air Force use at the site. In 1963, the U.S. acquired a leasehold interest in 0.46 of an acre of land from the Southern Pacific Company. The leasehold was terminated in 1966. Site was identified as a petroleum, oils, and lubricants (POL) site. The close proximity to Southern Pacific's tracks indicate the site was possibly used as a storage and distribution center.
