Symbolism: Red and yellow are used for Artillery. The four stars of the constellation Southern Cross allude to the campaigns in which the battalion participated during World War II in the Pacific Theater. The blue bendlet alludes to the Philippine Presidential Unit Citation awarded the battalion for service in the Philippine Islands.
