SITE NAME: Alameda Mole Gun Emplacement Site.
LOCATION: San Francisco Bay area, Alameda County, approximately three miles west of Oakland, California.
SITE HISTORY: On 07 August 1943, 0.80 acre was transferred from the Navy Department to the War Department by use permit. On 19 September 1946, 0,80 acre was retransferred to the Navy Department. The Alameda Mole Gun Emplacement site is located within the former NAS Alameda.
