1942 was to assist the local California State Guard in providing
additional personnel to guard highway bridges and railroad tresles
in the vicinity of Holmes.

20 enlisted soldiers.
The unit met at the Loleta Fireman's Hall
every Thursday at 7:30 pm.
The unit's mission assigned on 6 October
was to protect the following:
The 400-foot Northern Pacific Railroad
trestle.
1/2-mile Noerthwestern Pacific Railroad
tunnel.
