1st Cavalry Regiment
Troop A: Licensed 3 May 1942 Commanded by 1st Lt William R. Straus. Consisted of three officer and unknown number of enlisted members.
17th Infantry Regiment: Formed on 22 May 1942 and licensed 18 June 1942. Commanded by Maj M.H. Auerbach. License revoked by Special Orders 177 and 201 when the regiment was consolidated with the California State Guard's 1st Regiment to form Companies A, D and H, 1st Battalion, 23rd Regiment.
American Chinese Reserve: A Chinese-American unit licensed 7 July 1942. License revoked 1 October 1943 by Special Order 265. Commanded by Henry H. Soon. Also called Company F, 17th Infantry Regiment, CSM
Korean State Volunteers: Commanded by C. B. Kim, MD.
