A temporary camp established
in the town of Belmont by the 74th Field Artillery Battalion
sometime in 1943 and occupied until early 1944. Part of the camp
appears to have included the St. Joseph's Military Academy, a
Catholic boy's school operated by the Sisters of Mercy.
