Camp Markham
 
Camp Markham (US Army War College Collection)

Named for Henry Harrison Markham, Governor of the State of California, this was a temporary summer training camp site for the National Guard of California located at Santa Cruz. The camp was used from July 4 to 12,1891. The only unit currently identified as being at this site was San Francisco's 1st Infantry Regiment.
