A World War II Army Air Forces aircraft
warning station located in Goleta, Santa Barbara County. Also
known as Santa Barbra Point Aircraft Warning Station. Garrisoned
at various time by:
Elements of March Field's 554th Signal
Aircraft Warning Battalion.
Detachment, 654th Signal Aircraft Warning
Company.
658th Signal Aircraft Warning Company
The site was equipped with the SCR-516
Ground Control Interception Radar, a later version of SCR-268
radar.
