Granada Cantonment Area Military Reservation

LOCATION: The site was located approximately 16 miles south of San Francisco, in El Granada, San Mateo County, California

SITE HISTORY: Prior to 1943, the U.S. Government acquired 11.790 lease acres, 4.030 permit acres, and 2.113 license acres. Total acreage acquired for the subject site was 17.933. The site was used for housing of troops. Records did not indicate if there were any improvements, nor were any found during the site visit. In 1949, 17.933 acres were terminated
