Great Highway Military Reservation
 
US Army Corps of Engineers History
 
Location: Two thirds of a mile south of Golden Gate Park, on Great Highway in San Francisco.

Site History: : Army use began in 1943 with the acquisition of 0.72 permit acres. The site was used by the Army as a fire control station. In March 1959, 0.72 permit acres were terminated, and ownership reverted to the City and County of San Francisco. The site is currently vacant. Records do not indicate if there were any improvements.
