Hamilton Training Annex
(McClellan Training Annex, Travis
Training Annex, Wilton Drop Zone)
The Hamilton Training Annex was located
in Sacramento County, 4 miles east of Wilton, 67 miles east of
Hamilton AFB and 20 miles southeast of McClellan AFB, California.
The site was leased by the U.S. Government on 28 September 1973
and consisted of 800 acres. The site was also used by McClellan
AFB and Travis AFB.
The U.S. Air Force used the property as
a drop zone for parachutists. There are no known improvements
to the property.
In August 1976 the lease was terminated.
