149th Armor (organized 27 July 1909 at San Francisco as the 6th
Company, 1st Coast Defense Command, Coast Artillery Corps), and
consolidated unit designated as Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion,
159th Infantry
Consolidated 29 January 1968 with Company B, 1st Battalion, 159th
Infantry (organized and Federally recognized 24 May 1948 at San
Bruno as Battery B, 681st Antiaircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons
Battalion), and consolidated unit designated as the 2632d Transportation
Company; concurrently, relieved from assignment to the 49th Infantry
Division and location changed to San Bruno
