Originally established as a McClellan
Field's Crash Boat Station and a riverside dock and warehouse.
The two acre site is located on the Sacramento River at 1601
Garden Highway in Sacramento. After the crash boat mission ended
the site continued to serve McClellan AFB as a dock for materiel,
including aircraft, shipped by barges on the Sacramento River.
In 2006, the Site was quitclamed through
the National Park Service to the City of Sacramento.
No other information is currently available.
