Military Station at San Luis Obispo
 
 
 
Order of Battle of United States Land Forces in the World War (1931-1949)
 
Temporary station established in San Luis Obispo County in 1917 to provide shelter for detachments guarding the Union Oil tank farms on Tank Tarm Road in San Luis Obispo and Avila Beach and the Union Oil Pier at Port San Luis. The station was garrisoned by the 11th Company, Coast Defenses of Los Angeles from Fort MacArthur in San Pedro.
