Mission Bay Quartermaster Depot
(Mission Bay Quartermaster Sub-Depot,
California Quartermaster Depot; California Quartermaster Sub-Depot
San Francisco)
History
Located at 6th and Channel Streets in
the Mission Bay District of San Francisco, little is known about
this World War II Quartermaster Corps storage and distribution
facility. It does not appear in available Army and 9th Service
Command stations lists. The Inventoy of War Department Owned,
Sponsored and Leased Facilities dated 31 December 1945 indicated
that the depot was one of the California
Quartermaster Depot's sub-depots.
