The former Lemoore Auxiliary Field No.
4 was located approximately 6 miles southwest of Stratford, California
in Section 31, Township 20 South, Range 19 East. It was one of
six auxiliary field under the control of Lemoore Army Air Field.
The total acreage was 621.76 acres acquired
in fee in two parcels in 1942. The field consited of a 3000 x
3000 foot paved mat.
