Naval Outlying Field, Clear Lake
 
 
Outlying Field (for seaplanes) for NAS Alameda during World War II and the early Cold War. Probably for emergency usage as there appeared to have no facilities to support ramp or hangar. Also used for seaplane landing when weather conditions in San Francisco Bay precluded landings there.
