San Francisco Aquatic Park Anti-Aircraft Tactical Position
 
At sometime during World War II, the Western Defense Command's 4th Anti-Aircraft Command established an antiaircraft site at San Francisco's Aquadic Park. The 11-acre site housed 33 enlisted soldiers in Theater of Operations type of barracks and and addition ten in hutments. The site also housed 43 officers. In 1944, this site became headquarters for the 4th Anti-Aircraft Command (Which had been transferred to the 4th Air Force) from it former facility at 155 Sansome Street. Additional information, such as armament and other units assigned to this site, is not currently available.
