San Ysidro Post
Established on July 12, 1912, the post
was garrisoned by 1st Lieutenant Ira A Smith, 12th Infantry,
with Company C, the command coming from Campo. The camp was abandoned
on January 27, 1913, when the troops were ordered to the Presidio
of Monterey.
