Travis Air Force Base Radio Beacon Annex

Location: The site is located 17 miles northeast of Fairfield, and three miles west of Dixon, in Solano County, California (Figure 1 and Figure 2).

Site History: Travis Radio Beacon Annex was used as a radio beacon site by the Air Force between 1952 and 1964. Improvements to the 1.20 acre site included a radio control building, and emergency power plant building, an electrical system, an underground grid antenna, a road, and a parking area.
