(white) the colors of Infantry and indicate the origin of the
unit. The design is based on the shield of the 185th Infantry
Regiment, the parent regiment with the colors reversed and the
head of a caraboa added to symbolize service in the Philippines
during World War II. The border is yellow and green, the colors
of Armor
