Soviets Invade Camp Roberts. Well, not exactly. But members of the California Historical Group, a umbrella organization for the World War II reenactors have lent the Camp Roberts Museum a Soviet T34/85 Tank and several World War II vehicles for display. All are in running order and are used by the groups' activities at Camp Roberts.

Museum Support Organization Changes Name: Effective 1 January 2001. the California Military Museum support organization, the California National Guard Historical Society was renamed the California Military Museum Foundation. The name change reflects the growing scope of the museum's mission, preseving the total military hiostory of California, not just that of the state's military forces.
