Sacramento Museum Day: Once again, the annual Sacramento Museum Day held
on Saturday, 7 February 2009, was an outstanding event for the
museum. With approximately 2,000 visitors going through the museum
in a seven hour period the museum was constagtntly filled from
opening to closing. Added for the first time this year was a
team from the US Army's Sacramento Recruiting Battalion who set
up a 16-station Local Area Network (LAN) to play the latest edition
of the "America's Army" computer game as well as a
weapons simulator featuring the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon,
M4 Carbine, and the M9 Pistol. The following images show the
highlights of the day.
